India and the world have lost a giant with a giant heart,
We will remember his legacy of transformative giving to Cornell,
Culture, ... eats strategy for breakfast.”
Thank you for thinking of me.”
A legend who will inspire every generation. Entrepreneurs of the next generation will miss interacting with the most humble businessman of India. Salutes, Sir. Ok Tata Bye Bye."
Never misses a chance to be in the news, ... This is inappropriate."
We his brothers, sisters, and family take solace and comfort in the outpouring of love and respect from all who admired him. While he is no longer with us in person, his legacy of humility, generosity and purpose will continue to inspire future generations."

He stayed at Goa for a long time when I was working there but never once I saw or heard him discussing money, profits or business, ... He used to always ask the generals managers and managers about how their people are doing. If everyone is well taken care of, and if they need anything. He always only discussed people working for him”.
His idea of a good breakfast, what I remember, was a good croissant and orange juice. He was the least fussy person that I've seen or met... I remember him taking strolls and light jogs on the beach and then coming back just for a quiet orange juice and croissant. He used to have his breakfast very quietly, almost obliviously, and just vanishing after having his meal,
...I ... I was graduating from IIT Bombay and he was the guest speaker at our convocation. I was a young kid but his words that day stayed with me - to serve one’s country,
I thought a person of his stature would politely decline but he actually took a full day out, flew to Bengaluru and spent the entire day with my team and company!,
